ALATIOMI, meaning "dreams of water" in Yoruba, is more than a cool name—it’s a vision for what’s possible. Founded by AIDA-certified freediver Phathom, ALATIOMI is on a mission to bring freediving to the Black community, starting in Prince George’s County, Maryland.

We’re here to claim our space in the water, to inspire each other to dive deeper, and to break down barriers that once kept us from seeing ourselves below the surface.

This isn’t just about diving; it’s about rewriting our story, shifting perspectives, and showing that Black people belong in every environment, including the depths of the ocean, living out their dreams of water.
